Compressor boxes that can be operated via the mains and in a vehicle usually cost quite a bit. With the elegant Dometic CoolFun CK-40, costs have been kept surprisingly low with a technical “trick”.

Here, a thermoelectric unit supplements the compressor and always comes into play when the unit in the car is connected to the 12 V vehicle battery. Thus, with good precooling, the cold chain is even retained during transport to the destination. Unsurpassed cooling performance in compressor operation with 230 V: up to -15 °C possible even in extreme outside temperatures!
